Solid Waste Advisory Board

The Solid Waste Advisory Board (Ordinance 3358) consists of five members: one member of the City Council and four citizens, appointed by the Mayor and confirmed by City Council. Members of the Solid Waste Advisory Board serve one-year terms, ending in December.

The Solid Waste Advisory Board meets, at a minimum, annually in the first calendar quarter and reviews all matters referred to it concerning rates, service, and policy, and report its recommendations to the City Council.  Any determination of the Council shall be final.

Mission statement: It is the mission of the Solid Waste Advisory Board to be educated and knowledgeable on regulations and issues related to solid waste and recycling on behalf of the residents and businesses of the City of Pendleton.
