Departure Times for Let'er Bus Transit

This bus route is for the general public; all are welcome to ride under the following guidelines. The routes will run two different routes, 11 times a day.  The routes will not operate on federal holidays. 

  • North-East Route

    will run from Walmart out to Riverside and back through the North Hill neighborhood. Stops on the North-East route will include City Hall, Main Street, state offices on Emigrant, the high school, and BMCC. 

  • South-West Route

    will run from Walmart south through the McKay, Sherwood, and South Hill neighborhoods. Stops will include St. Anthony Hospital, Southgate Medical Center, and St. Anthony's physical therapy office. 

  • Inclement Weather Route

    During inclement weather events when safety is a concern, the route may be temporarily modified. 

  • Aquatic Center Route

    will be available to riders each summer. The bus begins the route in Riverside at 11:50 AM and will arrive at the Aquatic Center at 12:35 PM. The bus will then depart from the Aquatic Center at 4:15 PM, making its final stop at PELC 

 

Both transit bus routes have stops at the Pendleton High School, the Aquatic Center, and BMCC.

Route deviation requests up to half a mile off the route and “ Flag Stops” require a next day advance phone notice Monday through Friday during open dispatch hours. (“ Flag Stops” are designated stops that are not stopped at daily without an advance notice request.  Flag stops include the Airport and Grecian Heights.) The dispatch phone line number is 541-276-6476 and is available between 8 am and 5 pm Monday through Friday.

Let'er Bus is free of charge. Riders must be at least 10 years old to ride alone. Riders age 9, and younger must be accompanied by an older companion rider. Intoxicated riders will not be allowed to board the bus for the safety of others. The bus is ADA-compliant for wheelchair service, and a bike rake is available for the bike rider to load their own bike. Bus riders must be able to keep personal belongings out of the bus aisle and within their own seat space. Please consult the Rider's Guide for more information.

Reasonable Modification for ADA

The City of Pendleton will make all reasonable modifications to policies and programs to ensure that people with disabilities have an equal opportunity to enjoy all agency programs, services, and activities. Exceptions would include modifications that:

Would fundamentally alter the program.

Would create a direct threat of significant risk to the health or safety of others.

Are not necessary to enable an individual to receive the service.
