Utility Worker/Water division with Public Works Department

The City of Pendleton is accepting applications for a Utility Worker position in the PUBLIC WORKS DEPARTMENT: Applications are being accepted for a Utility Worker position in the City of Pendleton’s Water division of the Public Works Department. Position performs a variety of work from manual labor to the operation of light and moderately heavy equipment. Requires: the ability to skillfully and safely operate equipment such as tractors, loaders, etc., experience using hand and power tools; and ability to work at strenuous tasks in all types of weather. Position requires walking, bending, stooping, and lifting. Must be able to pass a criminal background check and have or be able to obtain a Commercial driver's license within 1 year of hire. The salary range is $3,513-4,729 a month DOE plus excellent benefits. Applications will not be accepted later than May 21, 2021.
