Temporary Part-Time Library Intern

The Library has an opening for a temporary part-time Library Intern. This position will assist by preparing materials for library programs, assisting with presentations and events for children's families, and maintaining a welcoming and informative space for children. Requires skill with arts and crafts and experience working with groups of children. Good people skills, ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing, precision in alphabetizing; physical ability to lift, bend and move books and materials are also required.  Prior public service experience and the ability to speak Spanish is desirable.   Approximately 17 hours per week, primarily afternoon & evening, with occasional Saturday hours. $12.50 per hour.  Applications must be submitted to Human Resources by April 19, 2022.  Applications are available at HERE  or at City Hall, 500 SW Dorion, Pendleton OR 97801 and may be returned to the same address or to human.resources@ci.pendleton.or.us.  The City of Pendleton is an Equal Opportunity employer.
