The City of Pendleton is accepting applications for the position of part-time Arts and Economic Prosperity 6 (AEP6) Project Coordinator, to work with the Arts Commission.
The Pendleton Arts Commission is currently partnering with the Oregon Arts Commission and Americans for the Arts (AFTA) in a national study of the economic impact of the arts in communities nationwide called AEP6. Nearly two dozen Oregon cities are participating, including Pendleton.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES;
- The Project Coordinator will work with arts/culture organizations in Pendleton.
- Print Prosperity 6 (AEP6) surveys for providing to those in attendance at events.
- Maintain a calendar of events and is expected to attend those events to administer the surveys, with assistance from the organizations and the event organizers.
- Encourage audiences to fill out the survey, as allowed before/after the event.
- Collection of Survey responses
- Utilization of volunteers is acceptable.
- The desired outcome is a well-respected research report with AFTA.
SKILLS AND ABILITIES;
- Requires proficiency with Microsoft Office Excel and Word.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication is necessary.
- Must be organized, able to meet deadlines, and disciplined in attention to detail.
- Demonstrated ability to engage with and develop relationships with others.
APPLICATION DETAILS:
- The Part-time position will require an average of 8-15 hours a we for approximately 14-16 weeks and up to 250 hours.
- The final product is a well-respected research report with AFTA.
- The position is scheduled to begin in March with a completion date of May 31, 2023.
- The hourly wage is $25
