Municipal Court Clerk
The City of Pendleton is accepting applications for a full-time, (3/4 time would be considered) Municipal Court Clerk. The position is responsible to provide administrative support for the Municipal Court, including maintaining court records; process court related transactions; sending trial notices, court orders, and other communications to attorneys, defendants, police, and others; preparing trial schedules; attending court sessions and enter the dispositions into the computer record; produce documentation as needed; collect court-imposed fines; prepares monthly reports. Requires High School diploma or equivalent supplemented by education or training in business practices and two (2) years of progressively responsible office experience plus experience in a legal or judicial office setting or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience. Must have excellent customer service skills. Pay rate is $3,939 - $4,847 DOE, plus excellent benefits. Applications are available at HERE or at City Hall, 500 SW Dorion, Pendleton, OR 97801.
