Information Technician

applications are being accepted for an Information Technician position in the Public Works Department.  The position will be responsible to administer, monitoring, operating, and reporting on the operational management software (OMS) systems used in the City’s Public Works Department; utilizing system data to help management forecast resource and workload needs; reporting on financial trends and operational effectiveness, and related work.  Key tasks include software administration, technical assistance, media management, analysis, and reporting.   The position requires a Bachelor of Science (BS) or Master of Science (MS) in Communications, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or related field, and two years of technical experience in data analysis and reporting, or a satisfactory equivalent combination of education and experience.   Must have a driver's license and be able to pass a criminal background check.
