Utility Rates

Water

Resolution 2626: Each April 1, charges for Service Connection Installation Charges, Temporary Services, Water Fill Stations, Meter Removal / Reinstallation, Payment of Charges, Cross Connections, and Tampering or By-Passing Service shall be adjusted by an amount equal to the greater of 2.5% or the year to year percentage change in the Engineering News Record (ENR) Construction Cost (20-city average) Index as of December of the preceding calendar year.  Base Rates to be Charged and Volumetric Rates to be Charged shall be increased 10.5% on January 1, 2017, January 1, 2018, January 1, 2019, & January 1, 2020; equating to a monthly average residential increase of about $4/month in December 2015 growing to about $6/month in January 2020 over the 5-year period.  Billing rate will be the adjusted rate rounded to the nearest $0.05.

 

Sewer

Resolution 2627: Each April 1, charges for Septic Waste and Fats, Oil, Grease (FOG) and Resource Recovery Facility Lab Fees shall be adjusted by an amount equal to 2.5% or the year to year percentage change in the ENR Construction Cost (20-city average) Index as of December of the preceding calendar year.  Charges for Residential, Transient, Commercial (Light), Commercial (Heavy), Commercial Grey Water & RV Spaces shall be increased 10.5% on January 1, 2017, January 1, 2018, January 1, 2019, & January 1, 2020; equating to a monthly average residential increase of about $3/month in December 2015 growing to about $4.50/month in January 2020 over the 5-year period.  Billing rate will be the adjusted rate rounded to the nearest $0.05.

 

Street Maintenance

Resolution 2628: Each April 1, charges for Street Maintenance Utility Fee Charges shall be adjusted by an amount equal to or greater of 2.5% or the year to year percentage in the ENR Construction Cost (20-city average) Index as of December of the preceding calendar year.  The billing rate will be the adjusted rate rounded to the nearest $0.05.
