City of Pendleton releases Communications Survey Report

The City of Pendleton has released the results of the 20222 City Communications Survey.

The City of Pendleton Communications Survey 2022 was designed to help gauge current conditions and guide communication decisions, working toward Pendleton City Council Goal #4: Improve communication between the Community and the City Council/Mayor’s Office/City of Pendleton.  

In July and August, the City of Pendleton invited community members to provide feedback about how the City is communicating and what could be improved. Over the course of six weeks, 340 participants completed the 20-question survey.

More than half (56%) of survey participants felt well informed or somewhat informed about the City of Pendleton. The same percentage (56%) also felt the City of Pendleton does not share information often enough, and slightly more participants (57%) said the city does not share enough information.  By category, participants want to hear more about construction, City Council and administrative decisions, emergency preparedness, and economic development.
